MISSION
Helping people build equitable workplaces and communities through research-based expertise and compassionate collaboration.
ABOUT
Rise to Equity Excellence originated from the desire to make the latest scholarly research on equitable and effective practices easily accessible to workplaces and communities.
Reviewing and assessing current research on organizational behavior, workplace culture, and equitable systems requires technical knowledge and time. Thus, research-based knowledge on is generally inaccessible to busy employees, employers, government actors and/or community members.
I make current data and best practices understandable and practical. Ultimately, all of us are needed in the work of co-creating more just and equitable systems and workplaces.
I approach this work in two general ways:
First,
I conduct learning and development trainings and curricula focused on offering people “best practices” related to workplace cycles, from hiring, to performance evaluations, to strategic leadership, to inclusive management, to career advancement. My extensive experience facilitating trainings on these issues has taught me to approach this work with compassion, honesty, and applicability. I also engage in executive coaching for C-suite, executive and senior leaders, because effective and inclusive leaders usher organizations to good health.
Second,
I offer consultation services to municipalities, counties, organizations and businesses. These services are tailored to people’s unique needs. Some entities may need holistic assessments to better understand existing strengths and opportunities. Others may be ready to jump into strategic planning and implementation technical assistance. Still others need fair and balanced engagement on complex and thorny employee relations.
