International students often arrive to US business programs with a different set of cultural assumptions about what it means to be a good student, to work in groups, and to collaborate on business projects. Additionally, international students often arrive with various levels of English language competency and understanding of US culture. Because of this, international students demand unique pedagogical awareness and approaches. This workshop explores pedagogical tactics that foster cultural awareness and inclusivity as well as methods that effectively use international students’ unique perspectives in the business classroom and industry.
